The factory has imported machinery from Taiwan and Korea. Approximately 40.0 million meters of nylon, polyester, Aluminium , Brass, Antique Brass and Vislon zippers per annum. Zippers are consumed mainly by the export oriented garments, luggage, footwear, and upholstery industries.

BANGLADESH LUGGAGE INDUSTRIES LIMITED

Location : The factory is located at Karnapara, Savar, an industrial zone about 12 km west of Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh.
The machinery has imported from Japan, Taiwan and Korea Approximately 5.0 million meters of WR / WP Nylon / Tafetta fabrics with PU / PVC coatings, 1.5 million travel bags and soft luggage.
The fabrics produced in the factory are suitable for travel bags, soft luggage, jogging suits, umbrella cloths, rain coats, and various kinds of sportswear. Products are sold in U.S.A, U.K, Germany, France, Canada, Middle East.

Products : Coated and non coated Oxford and Taffeta fabric
with PU/PVC. Soft luggage WR/WP Jacket.

Machinery : From Germany, Italy, UK and Singapore.

Annual Capacity : 2,500 metric tons.

Major Customers : Fabrics produced in this factory are mainly consumed by our
own garments factories. However, the factory also caters knitting services to other customers according to their orders and specifications.

BANGLADESH DYEING & FINISHING INDUSTRIES Ltd.

Products/Services : Provides services to export oriented Fabric and
Garments Industries through Dyeing & Finishing of Knitted Cloth and Fabrics in tubular & open width forms.

Machinery : From Switzerland, UK., Italy, Taiwan, and India. The
factory is equipped with technologically advance machinery from Santex, Switzerland.

Annual Capacity : 3,000 metric tons.

Major Customers : Export oriented fabric and Garments Industries including
own Garments Industries.
AL-ISLAM TEXTILE LTD

Products : All types of Woven Fabric of different widths.

Machinery : From Japan, Taiwan & India.

DOEL CEMENT MILLS

The factory is established in 1998 and is located at Sara Gopalpur near Ishurdi district in the northern part of Bangladesh. The production capacity is approximately 100,000 metric tons Portland cement per annum. At present cement produced in the factory caters the need of domestic market.

DOEL FABRICS LIMITED

Doel Fabrics Limited has been incorporated on 18th November, 1999 as a private company limited under the Companies Act-1994 with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies, Bangladesh. The project will initially cater services for dyeing and finishing of nylon and taffeta fabrics. Meanwhile, the necessary machinery for the project have been imported from Korea and the installation work of these machinery have also been completed. The projected dyeing & finishing capacity of the project is about 12.0 million yards per annum.

The project will provide services for dyeing & finishing of fabrics to the other sister concerns of Doel Group of Industries Limited namely, Bangladesh Luggage Industries, Doel Apparels Limited, Doel Sportswear Limited which are engaged in manufacturing of soft luggage & bags, ready made garments and jackets. In addition, the project will also spare its surplus capacity for other local industries after meeting the dyeing & finishing requirement of its sister concerns.

DOEL SPINNING MILLS LTD.

A project namely, Doel Spinning Mills Ltd. with over 25,000 spindles is under implementation. Once the project is ready, we will be able to produce approx. 5.0 million kg of high quality combed yarn per year. The yarn produced in the spinning mills will be consumed by our knitting, dyeing, garments & textile industries with 90% Value addition.

Production of yarn by ourselves will minimize dependency on import of fabric. In addition, production of yarn by ourselves will permit us to add value to raw cotton through conversion into yarn, Grey fabric, died fabric and finally to readymade garments. Such backward linkage facilities will further provide us competitive edge, advantage and flexibility to accommodate customers’ orders more efficiently and economically.

LINKAGE FACILITIES FOR READYMADE GARMENTS AND SOFT LUGGAGE MANUFACTURING

Doel Group of Industries Limited produces knit and woven fabrics with supportive linkage facilities for dyeing and finishing. Fabrics are produced in Bangladesh Knitwear Limited (Unit-1), Al-Islam Textile Mills and Bangladesh Luggage Industries limited. Fabrics produced in these factories are dyed & finished in Bangladesh Dyeing & Finishing Industries (Unit-1and 3) and Doel Fabrics Limited. Fabrics thus produced are fully utilized for making Readymade Garments (both woven and knit) and soft luggage.

The Group manufactures readymade garments in its industries namely,

R.Z. Knit Fashions Limited,
